How much do you need?
One cubic yard covers about 100 sq ft at 3 inches deep. Gravel and stone weigh roughly 2,500–2,800 lbs per cubic yard, which is why stone deliveries max out at 4 yards per load — that’s already about 5 tons of rock. The coverage calculator does the math for multiple beds and rounds to the half-yard the way we load the truck.
Delivery or pickup
Our own dump trucks deliver stone and gravel across a 15-mile radius of the yard — Palatine, Arlington Heights, Barrington, Lake Zurich, Buffalo Grove, Schaumburg, and the surrounding suburbs. Delivery is a flat rate by distance starting at $65 close to the yard; check your exact address, or build the order online and see the delivered total before you pay. Bringing a truck or trailer? We load pickups at the yard six days a week — no fee, no minimum beyond a single yard for delivery.
