Plus a fuel surcharge of $2.50 per cubic yard of bulk material, added to the material price. The delivery rate itself is one flat charge per trip, however many yards are on the truck.

How delivery works
- Dropped in one loose pile on your driveway or a paved surface — never on grass, lawns, or into a backyard.
- Keep the drop area clear on delivery day (move cars, unlock gates) and free of overhead lines or branches; gates need about 10 ft of width.
- If you’re not home the driver picks the spot; if we can’t safely reach it, a return trip may cost extra.
- You’re responsible for your property beyond the curb of the public road — ruts, oil spots, driveway or structural damage — even if you’re not home. A loaded truck is heavy.
- Minimum 1 yard for mulch, stone, sand, or soil — and spreading the pile is up to you.
- Bulk can’t be returned once it’s dumped, and some natural color and size variation is normal.
Scheduling & changes
- Deliveries Monday–Saturday, usually within 1–3 days; spring (April–June) books up fast, so order early.
- Your AM/PM window is a target, not an exact time — weather may push it, and we’ll reach out if so.

- Machine or pallet unloading may add a charge; the quoted rate covers a standard driveway drop.
- Change or cancel by phone. Within 24 hours of your delivery, changes aren’t guaranteed (the truck may be routed or loaded); cancel earlier for a full refund. If we cancel for weather or equipment, you’re refunded in full.

How much does bulk material delivery cost?
Delivery is a flat fee that scales with driving distance from our Deer Park yard — $65 for the closest addresses up to $180 at the far edge of our delivery area. Use the rate lookup on this page for your exact tier. The delivery fee is separate from the material cost.
What’s your delivery radius?
We deliver within a 15-mile driving radius of 20136 N. Rand Road, Deer Park — covering Palatine, Barrington, Buffalo Grove, Lake Zurich, Libertyville, Vernon Hills, Long Grove, Kildeer, Inverness and most of the northwest suburbs.
Can you deliver to my grass or backyard?
No — our dump trucks unload on a paved surface only (asphalt or concrete driveway). Dumping on grass or gravel risks damaging the truck, the surface, and your lawn. No paved area? Yard pickup is always an option.
What’s the minimum order for delivery?
1 cubic yard for mulch, stone, sand, or topsoil. Most homeowners order 3–10 yards for a typical project. The coverage calculator can help you figure out how much you need.
How soon can you deliver after I order?
Most deliveries go out within 1–3 business days of scheduling. During peak spring season (April–June) turnaround can stretch — order early for time-sensitive projects.
