Arbor Chips
Natural chipped tree branch material. Ideal for woodland gardens, natural pathways, and tree rings. Breaks down to enrich soil over time. Call in advance as it is not always in stock.
Available by the cubic yard at our Deer Park yard — pickup or dump-truck delivery across the NW Chicago suburbs. Use the coverage calculator to size your order.
Details
The most raw product we sell, straight from tree services — chipped whole branches rather than finely shredded fiber. Coarse, chunky, and distinctly woodsy in look. Contains large chips, shredded leaves, and some small branches.
At $10/yd it's by far the cheapest way to cover ground. Settles into a matted layer that suppresses weeds and returns organic matter to the soil as it breaks down. Works best where a rustic, natural look is desired; not the pick for formal beds where refined appearance matters.
