Details
Leaf Compost is made from fall leaf collection, aged and broken down into a rich dark organic material. Not really a "soil" — it's a soil amendment. Mixed roughly 30–50% into topsoil or native clay, it creates a fertile, fast-draining growing medium; spread an inch on top of established beds, it acts as a slow-release nutrient boost.
The microbial activity is the real value — decomposed leaf material feeds earthworms and soil biology in a way bagged fertilizer doesn't. Great pairing with Pulverized Topsoil for new planting beds.
