Mulch Stabilizer 5 Gallon
SRW Mulch Stabilizer™ — liquid-bonding agent that locks mulch in place against wind and rain. Dries clear and flexible, enhances color, helps suppress weeds. Up to 200 sq ft per gallon.
Available by the unit at our Deer Park yard — pickup or dump-truck delivery across the NW Chicago suburbs. Use the coverage calculator to size your order.
Details
Compact the mulch, give it a light pre-water, then spray on in slow, even saturating coats. A second coat 2 hours after the first significantly improves the bond. Full cure in 24 hours without rain. One application typically lasts a season; reapply when refreshing mulch.
Works best on shredded hardwood and dyed mulches. **NOT recommended for pine bark nuggets, chunk bark, or large wood chips** — the bond doesn't hold on those surfaces. Apply between 50–80°F and avoid if rain is forecast within 48 hours.
