Details
PennMulch is engineered as a one-step replacement for straw mulch over freshly broadcast seed. Each pellet is made from recycled paper and combines three things working together: a starter fertilizer for early root development, water-absorbing polymers that hold moisture in the seed zone for faster germination, and a Hydrobond™ tackifier that locks seed in place — even on slopes where straw would slide off.
No cleanup step. The pellets break down into the soil as the grass establishes, so you never have to come back and rake out spent mulch. And because there's no organic carrier like straw, no weed seeds come along for the ride.
