Details
Large angular quarry stone specifically for holding ground in place against moving water. The combination of heavy weight and angular, interlocking shape means rip rap stays put where smaller gravels would wash out.
Typical installation is 1–2 stones deep over filter fabric, along a shoreline, culvert outlet, or eroding slope. The look is rugged and utilitarian — this is working stone, not decorative.
