Steel Scoop Shovel
#2 steel scoop shovel with a 14-gauge tempered steel blade and a 60-inch straight ash handle. The big scoop head moves stone, gravel, sand, mulch, and snow by the load — and the straight shaft gives you more reach and leverage than a D-grip.
Available by the unit at our Deer Park yard — pickup or dump-truck delivery across the NW Chicago suburbs. Use the coverage calculator to size your order.
Details
Heavy 14-gauge tempered steel blade — 15-1/2" long by 10-3/4" wide — on a 60-inch straight ash handle. The straight shaft (no D-grip) lets you choke up or extend for long, sweeping scoops and keeps your back straighter when you are working down a big delivery pile.
Steel takes the loads poly will not: wet gravel, heavy stone, packed material, prying at a stubborn pile. It is heavier than our Poly Scoop Shovel, so for light, dry material like loose mulch or leaves the poly is easier on the arms — but for wet, dense, or abrasive loads, reach for the steel.
